1975 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI Jubiläum

  • Chassis no. 9115600225
  • Engine no. 6650275

Documents: German Fahrzeugbrief

  • One of 484 built and one of only 25 equipped with the desirable 2.7 MFI Carrera engine
  • Superbly restored, only driven 600 km in five years after completion

Introduced as part of the 1975 G-series 911 model line-up as a special edition to commemorate Porsche’s silver anniversary, the Jubiläum (M426) was a desirable limited edition of the venerable 911, and it was produced only for the 1975 model year. With an initial plan to build just 400 vehicles, Porsche ended up producing a total of 484 cars, all painted in the handsome Diamond Silver Metallic finish and fitted to a black and dark blue plaid and leatherette interior. Each Jubiläum came loaded with options from the Factory as standard, featuring a Blaupunkt Bamberg radio, 18-mm anti-roll bars with Koni shock absorbers, heated front and rear windows, headlamp washers, the 380-mm Carrera three-spoke steering wheel, five-speed gearbox and Fuchs alloy wheels. A commemorative metal plaque with the production number of each car was also fitted on the glovebox. However, these were customizable by the original owner, and many of them remained blank.

While the majority of all 911 Jubiläum cars were fitted with the standard 2.7-liter 175-hp flat-six of the 911 S, only 25 of these models were fitted with the more desirable and powerful Carrera MFI engine, which produced 210 bhp.

This particular Jubiläum is one of those 25 cars and importantly still retains its original 2.7 MFI engine. Following a meticulous restoration, the consignor has covered just 600 km over the course of the last five years, making this outstanding limited-edition 911 one of the finest of its kind on the market today.
